This blog was created in July 2006 out of curiosity, excitement, and the recommendation/help of my 2nd brother, with the URL dunopaopao.blogspot.com. Back in 2006 when I first blog, I didn't have much idea what blogging is all about. I treated my blog as a place where I can publish my essays. I was not a very active blogger back then because I had no idea what to blog.
And so, dunopaopao.blogspot.com was put on a hiatus for 3 years.
Then on September 16, 2007, I was motivated by one of my Form 6 friends (Yap) to start blogging about daily life. He was using MSN space (later known as Windows Live Spaces), so I moved to the other blog. In that period, I was managing 2 blogs: one from MSN Space which was mainly in Chinese, and this which was mainly in English. I tried to keep the two updated, but I found that I can express more easily in Chinese, so this blog went inactive for another year.
So in year 2008, this blog was officially revived. dunopaopao.blogspot.com was changed to duno916.blogspot.com to keep it short and easy to remember. New name, new designs, new contents, and bilingual! The new Blogger design gave us a lot of freedom to edit the blog's appearance, so I decided to moved back to Blogger. Ever since then, I have been blogging almost anything from interesting articles to personal feelings.
As of 1st March, 2010, the name of this blog has changed to Perspective from a PussyKeat™ mainly because Duno™.com is a rather short name for a blog, and it is actually a real registered website.
The name PussyKeat was given to me by a friend of mine (Bee Bee). We were playing a game of naming people.
In July 2010, once again, Blogger has rolled out some new features. One of them is the Template Designer which makes personalizing the blog's appearance even simpler. Then the blog's name has changed to Perspective from a Dunosaur™.
For a long period of time the blog was put on hiatus again. Then around October 2011, Blogger introduced a new design called the dynamic view. It was nice, and the blog was changed to one of the new views. The blog name was changed to This is Duno™.
In 2011, Windows Live Spaces was officially shut down by Microsoft. I did not know about this until about a year later. My old blog was deleted. I managed to copy out a handful of posts, but the rest are lost forever. Cue sad music.
On June 20, 2012, the blog was once again revert back to the old design because the dynamic view just didn't feel right. An overhaul was carried out, with changes in title, colour scheme, and background. The new blog title shall be called Hello? Yes, this is Duno. The address "duno916" is not very easy to type on mobile devices, so on July 8, 2012, the blog address was changed to dunodino.blogspot.com.
Sometime in the year 2013, even though I was not very active in blogging, I changed the blog address to dunozilla.blogspot.com to coincide with my other identities on the Internet. This also makes my blog easier to remember.
